iPhone 6 vs Samsung Note 4 Comparison: Review of Specs & Features - Which is the Better Buy?

Apple and Samsung's latest flagship offerings, the iPhone 6 Plus and Galaxy Note 4, are making a major impact in the phablet market, and tech enthusiasts have recently begun to compare the specs these two devices.

Display

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 comes with a 5.7-inch display with a 2560x1440 pixel quad HD resolution. This device is certainly brighter as well as more vibrant compared to other smartphones out in the market and, at the same time, it has capabilities to display more content simultaneously.

On the other hand, the iPhone 6 Plus comes with a 5.5-inch screen and compared to the Galaxy Note 4, it has a 1920x1080 pixel resolution along with Retina HD IPS LCD display.

Design

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 comes with a number of important upgrades in design. It now comes in an aluminum frame instead of its predecessor's faux-metal. At the same time, the Galaxy Note 4 comes without the fake stitching at the back for a more composite look.

Processor and OS

While the iPhone 6 Plus is powered by Apple A8 with M8 co-processor, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is packed with the company's Exynos 5433. The iPhone 6 Plus comes with dual-core clocked at 2600 MHz, the Galaxy Note 4 has a Quad core clocked at 1300 MHz.

The iPhone 6 Plus runs on Apple's latest mobile operating system, iOS 8, while the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 runs on Google's Android 4.4.

Camera

The iPhone 6 as well as the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 come with rear and front-facing cameras. The Galaxy Note 4 has a 16MP rear camera with LED flash and a 3.7MP front camera. On the other hand, the iPhone 6 Plus boasts of an 8MP rear camera along with the true tone flash and a 1.2 front camera.
