iPhone 6 vs iPhone 5 vs HTC One M8 Compare and Review Photo Leaks
News reports claim that the recent iPhone 6 photos show a true beta model which offers a strong representation of what the device will look like when it officially launches, later this year.
The back of the unit does not have the trademark Apple logo and cannot actually power on. However, this display model gives fans an opportunity to compare it visually to other competing and leading phones.
A comparison between the iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, and HTC One M8 (depicted in the image above) reveals that the 4.7-inch display on the iPhone 6 seems to have been balanced between the screen sizes of the other two devices. In addition to the display size, the iPhone 6 appears to have the same width as the HTC One M8, 5 inches.
Other iPhone 6 unofficial photos have shown the upcoming device without the dual-LED TrueTone flash introduced with the iPhone 5S. This used a white and amber LED to provide a more natural looking photograph, especially in the case of portraits.
Also, iPhone 6 evidently has more rounded edges compared to the iPhone 5 or iPhone 5S; looking much more like the iPod Touch in design.
In an attempt to maintain a certain thickness and a strong battery life, the internal hardware appears to be bulging outwards and sets the screen flush to the rest of device.
The iPhone 6 is expected to release in September, 2014 and run the new iOS 8, some speculate that it may launch alongside Apple's first wearable iWatch.
