iPhone 6 Rumors and Expected Release Date; Best Buy Marks down iPhone 5s by $50

Fans differ about what they expect and what they want out of a new iPhone. Will it be an iPhone 5S? Will it be an iPhone 6? Will it be bigger? Faster? Bigger screen? Bigger battery? No one seems to know. But, there does seem to be one feature that is most likely to change. The look.

With the release of the new iOS 7 OS for the iPhone and iPad platform, Apple looks to adopt a more streamlined, old-school look. Most experts think that Apple will mirror this software change with its hardware, making an even more streamline, simpler version of the iPhone.

Another feature that seems to always come up is 3D. The new iPhones are supposed to have 3D imaging in their cameras and will potentially have 3d viewing for video. (None of this is confirmed, obviously.) As far as shockingly new features are concerned, a 3D camera would indeed be a niche that Apple can own, but it may not be something that is, of yet, usable for its consumers. If anything, Phones Review reports that this may be more of a gimmick than a functional addition.

But, aside from taking awesome 3D home movies, there are other ways that Apple could make this technology useful, as they advance in both the mobile gaming market and with user-developed applications. Even in gaming, the trend of virtual reality, the closest gaming can come 3D life, is becoming apparent. It may only be a matter of time until the smartphone catches on.

iPhone 5S Release Date

So, given what we do know, when should the next iPhone come out? The short answer: soon...? Here's why.

iPhones are currently on sale at Best Buy for $50 off. Experts report that the recent Apple "iPhone radio silence", combined with this iPhone 5 sale may be a nod to a well-prepared greeting for the iPhone 5S. If this is the case, we could see an announcement as early as this summer for the new iPhone, will a release date not long afterwards.
