iPhone 6 Release Date Rumors, Specs News: Longer Battery Life; Features Rumored at WWDC 2014 Conference in California
With and expected Fall release of the iPhone 6 just a few months away, fans are expecting Apple's newest offering to rectify the relatively short battery life issues the current version of the iPhone has.
Software manufacturers, who have exclusive access to World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) in San Francisco, confirmed that Apple is gearing towards improving battery usage and conserving phone energy depending on the user's preference.
According to Daily Mail UK, Apple's patented power-saving mode allows users to control battery usage per application basis. For example, the amount of power used by the CPU can be decreased and reallocated to graphics for heavy processes like gaming. The iPhone 5s and 5c versions are not able to resolve battery saving issues due to manufacturing defects, reported the British online publication.
Gotta Be Mobile revealed some of the features boasted on behalf of the iPhone 6: slimmer design, protruding camera, enhanced graphics resolution, and larger screen. News from BGR Media confirmed that iPhone 6 is going to be the first Apple smartphone to join the bandwagon of large screens and the first in the market to feature a no bezel display.
The Cupertino-based tech giant is also upgrading the resolution by 1704×960 for ideal gaming and multimedia playback. Camera enhancements also adds filters and other editing capabilities for greater snapshots.
Fans are also anticipating the roll out of iOS 8, which is rumored to have a full revamp on the iPhone's interface and system functions. iPhone 6 bears the upcoming Apple operating system, while the older versions will have to wait for their respective system updates.
WWDC 2014 is currenty underway in San Francisco from June 2 to 6.
