iPhone 6 Release Date Rumors: Leaked Photo Posted On Twitter Could be Apple iPhone 6 Model

A leaked image of the expected Apple iPhone 6 has emerged via twitter from a well known Australian blogger, Sonny Dickson. The photo, shown above, has not been confirmed and is under immense scrutiny for potentially being a fraudulent or "photoshopped" piece of work.

Gizmodo speculates that if the photo is legitimate, the Cupertino tech giant will release the new model in two variants, sizes 4.7 inch and 5.5 inch. Apple Insider says that the image certainly appears realistic and provides a valid reason for its public availability. Potential case manufactures may have leaked the photo upon receiving specifications from Apple Inc.

Due to a high influx of smart phones with larger screens emerging from various manufacturers, Apple very well may jump on said band wagon with a 5.5 inch iPhone 6. Another feature worth mentioning is the similarities it shares with the iPad Mini, especially its round edges. The iPhone 5 and 5s devices were build with sharper angles, this image might indicate a change in style.

Another indicator of authenticity results from the properly positioned camera, speakers, and Touch ID.

In terms of the iPhone 6's expected price, The Motley Fool's notion stands that the new model will rest at a higher price, compared to its predecessors. Despite a price mark up, surveys conclude that such factors will not deter the majority of consumers. Analyst Tavis McCourt and researcher Raymond James, as featured by MarketWatch, organized said survey which revealed that Apple consumers display brand loyalty.

The Apple iPhone 6 is set to release sometime in the fourth quarter of 2014.
