iPhone 6 Release Date Rumors, Update: Fall 2014 Touted as Launch Date After New Leak

A well-known Chinese manufacturer for Apple is reported to have hired new manufacturing staff. The facility will be producing the new iPhone to meet an expected release date later this year. When can the output of the 6th generation of iPhones be expected, and what kind of features might be present in the new phone that will bring the characteristic excitement surrounding a new iPhone release?

A Taiwanese news portal has recently given information that a Chinese Apple manufacturer has been boosting production and hiring more workers to meet a quota of iPhones, likely projected for this coming Fall.

According to a report by Rueters, the major work for the device will be put in between April and June. Comparing this time frame to the history of releases of new iPhone's by the company, the product may be available by September.

It has been speculated on what new features will be included on the phone. One off and on rumor has had the phone screen being made with sapphire crystal, a material that would be nearly impossible to crack or break.

Many monitoring apps for health, fitness, and weather will also likely be included.

Perhaps the most discussed topic is the screen size, which will likely be 4.7, slightly larger than previous iPhones.

This will be the standard size of the iPhone, but after rampant speculation that Apple will go in to the phablet market (phone-tablet hybrid) many believe that a 5.5 inch version of the phone will be released later, bringing competition to the market niche of phones such as the Samsung Galaxy s5 which are the popular forerunners of the style of device.
