iPhone 5S vs Galaxy S4: Specs, Features / Should You Wait For New Apple iPhone 5S or Stick with Samsung Galaxy?

The Samsung Galaxy S4 has been released since spring 2013. A lot of people are heralding the new Galaxy phone as the best phone ever made. I'm sure Apple will aim to change their tune with the upcoming iPhone 5S. Still no confirmed release date, many Apple fans believe the new iPhone 5S will be released around September.

But what about the specs and features? Shall we compare the Samsung Galaxy S4 and iPhone 5S?

Obviously these are just rumors about the specs and features of the iPhone 5S, but...many believe the new iPhone 5S to have a new screen. Though Apple CEO Tim Cook is on record saying the 4-inch display is the perfect size, the new iPhone 5S is reportedly experimenting with new Sharp IGZIO screen technology that not only supports full HD resolution but will also make Apple devices thinner and lighter.

The Galaxy S4 has a robust 4.99-inch Full HD Super AMOLED screen. If the Apple rumors are true, both smartphones will have vibrant displays, dazzling users.

What about each phone's processor? This may be where Samsung reigns supreme. The iPhone 5S will obviously have a new processor [A7 chip?] but will it be better than the Galaxy S4's industry leading Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor clocked at 1.9GHz? Based on Apple's past the iPhone 5S won't have those numbers but will have the same efficiency.

The features are a crapshoot. Since the Galaxy S4 was released before the new iPhone 5S, chances are Apple will match every new feature. Chances are Apple will equip the iPhone 5S with a 13-megapixel camera, like the Galaxy S4.

Similar to the Galaxy S4, the new iPhone 5S will run on Apple's latest operating system: iOS 7. The new Galaxy S4 operated on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and will upgrade sometime in September, when new Samsung devices are launched at IFA Berlin 2013.
