iPhone 5S, iPhone 6 Rumors, Release Date, Features and More! [PHOTOS]
Only six months after Apple released the iPhone 5, we're already talking about the iPhone 5S. While some believe Apple will chose to break from the "S" naming convention, they'll most likely hold off on the iPhone 6 and stick to the trend. With a rumored release date set as early as June and no later than the end of 2013, the Samsung Galaxy S4 is giving smartphone buyers a reason to ask if they should even wait around for the new iPhone.
Here's a list of potential new features of the iPhone 5S.
iPhone 5 Display
The iPhone 5S or iPhone 6 will feature a Super HD screen displays with 10 point multi-touch and a 0.5mm thickness. The iPhone 5S is also rumored to have a Retina + Sharp IGZO display, equipped with full 1080p resolution.
iPhone 5S Camera
January reports indicate the iPhone 5S would feature a 13-megapixel camera with an improved flash on the back. A 13-megapixel camera is hardly a significant upgrade. If anything Apple is trying match competing phones like the Sony Xperia Z [also has a 13 megapixel camera] and the Samsung Galaxy S4, which will probably have a similar upgrade.
iPhone 5S Wireless Charging
CP Tech reported last month that Apple recently purchased the patent for Wireless Power Utilization. WPU is a wireless charging system with near-field magnetic resonance. Though the patent doesn't guarantee the iPhone 5S will have wireless charging, it does seem likely.
