iPhone 5c to Have Various Case Colors and a Lower Price than iPhone 5s / Release Date Set for September 13^th Preorders

Apple is entering new company territory with the new iPhone 5c and its lower price, variety of colors, and weaker specs. Apple generally totes the iPhone as being the most powerful smart phone on the market, but the iPhone 5c could find success in a new market. The production of different colors and cases for the phone at a lower price could help Apple compete with Android phones at their price level. Apple will have to sacrifice some specs with the iPhone 5c, but not too much since the price is not too much lower than the iPhone 5s.

The release date for this lower price range iPhone is set for September 13^th, 2013 for most major carriers in the United States. The cost of the iPhone 5c, although not that much less than the cost of the iPhone 5s, is a huge deciding factor in how the iPhone 5c sells in smaller, emerging smart phone markets such as China. The small difference in price has raised an unprecedented question for large market consumers in the United States: Which iPhone is right for me? Both will fluently run iOS 7 and have similar features, but it seems the iPhone 5s is more of an iPhone "Deluxe" at this point.
