iPad Pro Release Date? Biggest Apple Tablet Ever, Features, Specs, Price Rumors
With Apple's next-generation tablets iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 still "fresh out of the oven," Apple is rumored to launch yet another new tablet, this time with a massive 12.9-inch screen-the biggest display in an Apple tablet ever.
Rumor has it that a new Apple tablet with a big 12.9-inch display is already underway and Apple just seems to be secretive about it in order to get people hyped up about the new product, the iPad Pro.
The iPad Pro is said to be a game-changer as it is dubbed as a "hybrid" of MacBook and iPad, offering the capability of the MacBook and the portability of the iPad.
According to PC Advisor, the iPad Pro will be a larger and more powerful device compared to the newly-released iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3.
It is reported to have 128 GB storage, 2 GB RAM and a quad-core processor with A8 chipset. Moreover, the anticipated factor about it is its larger, high-resolution display.
The iPad Pro is also said to sport a slim profile, with 7-9mm width and about 550 g to 700 g in weight.
Furthermore, the iPad Pro will be packed with features including Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro and Photoshop to add to its productivity and creativity functions. It is also rumored to run on iOS 8 OS X Yosemite, however, if it arrives earlier than autumn 2014 the device should sport iOS 7.
Another interesting feature to look out for is a stylus and a keyboard docking system as well as a full USB connector.
The iPad Pro is said to go into production by first quarter of 2015. The release of the device was allegedly delayed because of the recent release of the iPhone 6 which Apple is still focusing on right now.
The iPad Pro will be more expensive than the iPad Air, and cheaper than the MacBook Air with a price range of about £650 to £950.
