iPad Mini 3 Release Date News, Rumors: Device Launched with Next Generation iPad Models on Oct. 21?
Since the American tech giant Apple has completed the highly successful launch of its latest iPhone models, the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus, the world's leading consumer electronics company is now gearing up to launch the next generation iPad models.
According to reports, Apple is likely to launch the iPad Mini 3 and iPad Mini Air 2 sometime around mid-October, alongside the rumored iPad Pro.
The iPad 3 Mini is reportedly not expected to have any major changes, as Apple is known to incorporate only minor upgrades in their devices' succeeding generations.
Reports claim that the only change, which is likely to set the iPad Mini 3 from its predecessor apart, is the possible add-on of the Touch ID feature, a security feature Apple has incorporated in its latest smartphones. The feature allows its users to secure their devices by the use of fingerprint technology, instead of the traditional password protection.
According to reports, the iPad Mini 3 is likely to keep its retina display 2048x1536 resolution, as opposed to earlier claims that the third-generation 7-inch tablet will be featuring a much higher 4K resolution. Another improvement that reports say is likely is the addition of new color variants for the latest iPad Mini, as well as an upgrade to the more powerful A8 processor chip.
Recent reports suggest that the iPad Mini 3 will most likely be launched on the October 21st Apple event where rumors claim the next generation iPads are scheduled to be unveiled.
