Apple is on a roll as it has a number of devices that will be releasing later this year. Aside from the new Macbook Pro, the tablet market will be getting two new devices from Apple, The iPad Air 2 and the iPad Mini 3.

With the upcoming and hyped release of these two devices, it only comes natural that the rumors would come rushing in. While some of these rumors are still unconfirmed by Apple, some seem be plausible if certain trends follow.

The first iPad Air sits at TechRadar's Best Tablets in the World List for 2014. Seeing as how the iPad Air sits at the number one spot, they speculate that it will be a challenge for Apple to make a tablet that will top the iPad Air.

There are very little details available about the upcoming iPad Air 2, but there are a few rumors as to the release date, specs, and pricing. The iPad Air 2 will be the sixth generation tablet to come out of Apple's line of full-sized tablets. Most likely, the best guess for the release date will be November this year with a $500 price tag.

Spec-wise, the new iPad Air will unlikely drop in performance seeing as how the price didn't go down from its predecessor. The iPad Air 2 will be coming with the Apple A8 processor, an 8MP rear camera, a 1.5MP front facing camera as well as the TouchID feature, carried over from the iPhone 5S.

The new iPad Air will retain its overall design, as well as keeping 2048 x 1536 resolution display. New button designs are also included that will make it distinct from its predecessor.
