iPad 6 Release Date, Specs Rumors: Announcement Expected September 19, Possible iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2 Launch

As Apple is all geared up to announce the launch of their iPad 6 on September 19, some say the tech titan will reveal the iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2 as well.

According to HIS Analyst Rhoda Alexander, the new iPad 6 may come in larger size than its predecessors:

"Some manufacturers over the last six months have received sample quantities of a larger panel. They're playing around with a product that could possibly be an iPad - related product. Various sizes are being reported, with 12.85 inches being one of the sizes," Alexander was reported as saying.

The iPad 6 may come with a fingerprint scanner for the Touch ID which was first seen in the successful iPhone 5S. The new iPad models are on Apple's list of hardware which is supported by iOS 7.1.

Also, the new 5.5 inch iPhone 6 may come with the storage space of 128 GB and the optical image stabilization facility for the camera.

The price of the iPad 6 is set to remain the same as the current iPads which cost around $399.

However Apple's consistent efforts to move forward to a 64 bit architecture with the iPhone and iPad mini, strongly suggest that this particular version of iPad will be stronger than its predecessors and perhaps more useful.

So, as the rumors fill the air about the specs of iPad 6, Apple proves with the launch of this new version that the craze for Apple's products have not diminished over time. With that, fans are left again in anticipation for a new and exciting addition to the line of quality Apple products.
