iPad 5 Sets Release Date for Next Week to Overshadow Galaxy Note 3?
Many thought that the new iPad 5 would be announced at WWDC last week during Apple's keynote address. After that did not happen, news is that is was Apple's plan all along to launch the iPad 5 the next week after the announcement of the new iOS 7.
Some speculate that Apple might release the iPad 5 next week just to pour cold water on their competitor Samsung.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is supposed to release on June 20th at an event in London.
The iPad 5, from leaks shown, is expected to have a smaller bezel, making it 25-30% thinner than previous versions of the iPad.
The iPad 5 should have a similar display as the iPad 4: a 9.7-inch retina display with a resolution of 2048 by 1536 pixels with a next-generation A7 processor, some boosted RAM, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, the option to have 4G LTE and it will likely come in a variety of storage options, including 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to feature a new processor, the Exynos 5420, a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display and a microSD card slot.
A full launch for the Note 3 is unexpected by many this week, with leaks pointing more towards launching at IFA in September.
The iPhone 5S and the iPad 5 have been discovered to be running iOS 7 earlier this week, in logs told by mobile app marketing platform Trademob.
