iPad 5 Release Date, Rumors, Specs: New iPad 5 in June? iPad Mini 2 Release in August? Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Overshadowed?

There's been so much talk about the new iPad 5 possibly getting a summer 2013 release that many have forgotten about the new Galaxy Note 3. Apple fans were excited for some new details regarding the iPad 5 at WWDC but were upset with nothing more than iOS 7 details.

Though the Note 3 is expected to have a June 20th release date [only a few more days!] Apple's table competitor is stealing the spotlight, and for good reason.

Though these specs rumors are unconfirmed, the iPad 5 is expected to have a 9.7-inch Retina display with 2048 x 1536 resolution. That's better than the Note 3 Full HD Super AMOLED screen.

The latest release date rumors point towards an iPad 5 release some time in June. The iPad Mini 2 is also expected to be released in August.

Sorry Samsung, that means your June 20th Galaxy Note 3 release will likely be skimmed over like a stinky piece of meat.

As far as more features and specs for the new iPad 5, the tablet is expected to come with a new dual core A7 processor. The same goes for the iPad Mini 2, which is rumored to come with a 7.9 inch screen.

The iPad 5, on the other hand will likely use Apple's new Sharp IGZO screen technology.

Could the new iPad Mini have a 10-hour battery, a FaceTime HD camera and an iSight camera?

Stay tuned for all iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 release date, specs and features rumors.
