The camera advantage would go to the iPad 4 & Mini as it has front and rear-facing cameras while the Kindle just has a front facing camera.  Both cameras are HD quality.  

The iPad 4 comes in different storage sizes of 16, 32, 64 & 128GB, with iPad Mini and Kindle Fire HD devices use a dual core CPU processor and have 16GB of storage.
