iOS 8.0.2 Release Date, Features: Apple Releases iOS 8.0.2 Bug Fix Update [VIDEO]
Barely a month after Apple announced the launch of its new operating system at the recent WWDC Keynote Conference 2014, developers have released the iOS 8.0.2 version in response for multiple problems encountered by users.
The bug fix should be able to resolve problems such as call forwarding and freezing when initiating Visual Voicemail, videos not playing on Safari, keypad not showing for verification on iCloud Keychain, AirDrop support for Passbook passes, and trouble in installing VPN profiles.
Users on a number of different forums have also reported battery drain issue, slow Safari browser experience as well as Wi-Fi glitches.
iPhone and iPad users who have installed iOS 8 on their devices have shared many of the pros and cons. A lot of the features were added in retrospect with iOS 7 such as voice messages, Family Sharing, and HealthKit. Apple has also integrated a new keyboard technique similar to Android called SwiftKey and another layer of security including Touch ID.
Messages have also been revamped to look and function similar to WhatsApp, and photo enthusiasts can now make use of added editing features.
According to MacWorld UK, iPhone 5 users who have upgraded to the latest firmware are definitely going to experience certain lags and bugs similar to what happened to iPhone 4 users when iOS 7 was released.
