Interstellar Movie Review: Anne Hathaway Talks 'Interstellar', Says It's a 'Very Extraordinary Film'
Anne Hathaway, who plays one of the main characters in the new movie, 'Interstellar', recently dished out some details about the film, where she described it as "the greatest she has ever seen."
After the movie opened up on Monday, reviews came in and one critic said it was a "sublime cosmic knockout."
The aforementioned Oscar winner starred opposite actors Matthew McConaughey, Michael Caine, and Jessica Chastain, in the movie that was directed by Christopher Nolan.
Hathaway played the role of a socially awkward astrobiologist, who was arrogant about her knowledge and the work that she's doing.
According to Hathaway, the film gave her the chance to show people how her character went from arrogance to humility.
During an interview on 'Good Morning America', Hathaway said that despite the scientific aspect of the movie, which might force viewers into thinking that they need to be scientifically knowledgeable to understand it, the movie was about family.
"It is an emotional story," she told the ABC news, adding that it revolved around a father and daughter relationship and is more than a a simple romantic story, it was a love story.
According to the actress, she felt "lucky" to be a part of the movie.
Additionally, the Oscar winner said she fell in love with her character, "I loved her journey," she said.
Hathaway said, while making the movie, she already knew that it was "pretty special," but after watching the finished product, the actress said she felt "humbled and very small" because she was included in a "very extraordinary film" that she described as "amazing."
She added that she could not believe her luck for playing a role in a movie, which gave her the greatest cinematic experience in her life.
"I can't believe I'm actually in it," she told the Huffington Post.
