The Indiana Pacers (40-12) will try to see off the threat from the Atlanta Hawks (25-26) at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis tonight.

The Indiana Pacers look as if their offense went into the All-Star break a little too early because their offense was nowhere to be seen. Tonight, they are looking to rebound from a rare loss on their home floor.

The Atlanta Hawks' shooting slump caused their biggest losing streak of the season, and yet that would not be easy to cure against the NBA's best defensive club.

The Pacers will attempt to avoid losing back-to-back home games for the first time this season while dealing the Hawks their sixth straight loss tonight.

Eastern Conference-best Indiana had its poorest offensive performance in an 81-73 defeat to Dallas on Wednesday; reaching season lows in points and field-goal percentage (32.1).

The Pacers suffered their second loss in three games overall and third in 28 home games, had made 237 points on 51.2 percent shooting in their previous two at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

"They beat us at our game," said George Hill to reporters after scoring a team-high 14 points. "They played well and we just didn't play good enough. We gave one away. It's unfortunate, but it's over now."
