Is a vampire franchise crossover relationship in the works? It looks like it, as "The Twilight Saga's' Nikki Reed is reportedly dating "The Vampire Diaries' star Ian Somerhalder.

Reed and Somerhalder became the subject of tabloid speculation over the weekend when they were spotted getting cozy at an L.A. Farmer's Market on Sunday. The couple has been seen several times over the past week, looking happy and carefree.

The couple grabbed coffee together and couldn't contain their smiles. They appeared relaxed and comfortable in each other's company as they shopped in Sherman Oaks. At one point, Somerhalder touched the back of Reed's neck and appeared to be whispering in her ear as the actress flashed him a radiant smile.

Both were dressed casually for the outing. The 26-year old stunner wore cropped workout pants and a neon yellow top, while the 35-year old hunk sported black pants and a heather grey tee. The duo has been reportedly close for years, but it is possible that their friendship has evolved into something more now that both of them are single.

Reed filed for divorce in May after two years of marriage from singer-songwriter Paul McDonald. Meanwhile, Somerhalder broke up with his "Vampire Diaries' co-star Nina Dobrev in May 2013 after almost three years of dating.

Before the farmer's market sighting, they were seen eating at Kiwami in Studio City on July 15 and afterwards they were spotted grabbing dinner in the San Fernando Valley. On Saturday, the Daily Mail reported that they were seen jogging together in L.A.

As it stands, there has been no word yet from either of their representatives to verify the status of their relationship.
