'Hyrule Warriors' Wii U Update, New Characters, Stages, Enemies, and Skins for Zelda and Link
The new Nintendo hack-and-slash fighting game, 'Hyrule Warriors' has many Zelda players excited as it combines the Zelda universe with Koei's signature flashy hack-and-slash gameplay.
Tecmo Koei announced a plethora of upcoming content for the new game yesterday, and has updated its site with all sorts of new images and other content.
Three new characters were announced to join the roster, Darunia the Goron, Ruto the Zora Princess, and Sheik will be fighting alongside the good guys. In an image, another unknown fighter can also be seen alongside Sheik, seemingly fighting an injured Princess Zelda.
Another image reveals a new character, Lana, dishing out damage to enemies.
The in-game shop also showcases a purchasable weapon for the character Impa, perhaps a blade or some other type of attack ability. Aside from that, new stages inspired by the Zelda game, 'Ocarina of Time', have also been revealed having been given the 'Dynasty Warriors' treatment.
Aside from new heroes to pick from, villains will be making an appearance as well. Gohma, the giant one-eyed spider from 'Ocarina of Time' is just one of the many villains that players will get to fight possibly in the story mode.
The last of the updates that Koei revealed are the exclusive skins for Zelda and Link that can be obtained through the collector's edition of the game. The looks of the skins will be drawn from the 'Ocarina of Time' timeline. A Power Box is also expected to come to the collector's edition which will most likely contain an unannounced Ganondorf.
Legend of Zelda fans are excited for the release of the game on September 26, as they want to relive the experiences of possibly the greatest of Zelda games, 'Ocarina of Time'.
