‘Hyrule Warriors’ Release Date Revealed, New Pictures and Trailer Video
A spin off of 'The Legend of Zelda' series, 'Hyrule Warriors', will be available at all retailers and the Wii U eShop on the 26th of September, according to Nintendo.
During the E3 Digital Event last June, Nintendo revealed Zelda and Midna as playable characters in 'Hyrule Warriors'. However, Yosuke Hayashi, one of the game creators, hinted the possibility that other characters will be thrown into the mix.
'Hyrule Warriors' is not your typical 'Legend of Zelda' title, says Leo Sun from The Motley Fool. Also, it is one of three spin-offs from the 'Zelda' series that will be released. As Nintento collaborated with Tecmo Koei, they made a title that technically combines the "hack-and-slash gameplay mechanics of Tecmo Koei's 'Dynasty Warriors' with the iconic Zelda series," said Sun.
One of the trailers for the game, showed the main character, Link. The clip also featured the other characters and their attack style and specialties with some fighting actions from Link as he takes down the "Boss" with a bomb that stunned the enemy and caused massive damage.
They also released screenshots from the game, which showcase the new characters as well as the main ones like Zelda, Midna, Link and Impa.
'Hyrule Warriors' will release on the 14th of August in Japan and the 26th of September in the US.
