Hunger Games 3 Mockingjay Part 1, Part 2 Release Date, Spoilers: Bloodiest Movie Yet

The long awaited final battle in the Hunger Games series will be split into two films. The first part, Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 will premiere on November 21, 2014, and Mockingjay Part 2 will release roughly one year later, although the exact date is yet to be officially confirmed.

Fans are left wondering how the split will affect the plot or storyline. According to some reports, the biggest and more important scenes will occur in the second part of Mockingjay, the first part will act as a platform and set up the latter.

This should not stand to dissappoint because MockingJay Part 1 will surely have some shocking and action packed scenes of its own. This is known because of the cliff-hanger ending from the previous installment, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. By the look in the eyes of Jennifer Lawrence's character in the final scene of Catching Fire, viewers immediately understood that her character is ready for some action.

The reviews of the Mockingjay book by Suzanne Collins, which the movie is based on, says that it is the weakest and bloodiest among the collection, but the advantage of transposing it onto big screen is that the production can make the story bigger than the books.

The third installment in the franchise has already finished filming, one producer on the project tweeted, "That's a wrap. Thank you Suzanne Collins (author of the original book series) Thank you (director) Francis Lawrence. Thank you HG Fans. Other than that, I'm speechless." She said.

The new added cast member Sam Clafin also expressed her happiness as they finish shooting, "I just want/need to express my many thanks to everyone (cast, crew & fans) who have worked so hard for so long to make The Hunger Games experience what it is, but for also trusting me enough to let me be part of it. I feel privileged, honoured and so very lucky to have shared this opportunity with so many passionate & talented people. #dreamjob" continued the actor, who's obviously elated to join the star-studded ensemble," Clafin posted on Twitter.
