‘Hunger Games 3: Mockingjay Part 1’ Latest Rumors, News: Julianne Moore Talks About President Coin Role (Teaser Trailer Video)

The countdown begins to the premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 which is set to hit theaters on November 21, 2014.

The first installment of the third book in the series centers on full out war breaking out as the Capitol fights to eradicate the rebels in the various districts.

Julianne Moore joins the cast of the Hunger Games 3 Part 1, which will also stay the late Phillip Seymour Hoffman, who plays Gamesmaker Plutarch Heavensbee.

In an interview, Moore said that she was fascinated with the Hunger Games' representation of different political systems, and how each system thrives to be able to fit in.

The best-selling novel is known not only for its romantic storylines between Katniss and the two men in her life, but also the fight for democracy, people's revolution, and justice.

"Hope is about possibility. Hope is about change. It's about having personal power. So I think if the characters in Mockingjay or anywhere in Hunger Games are hopeless, that means they don't feel that they can effect change," said Moore pertaining to the theme of Mockingjay Part 1.

Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson, who play Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Malark respectively, are central figures once again in the latest film, with Peeta being captured at the end of the second movie. The Capitol will look to brainwash him and use him as a weapon to assassinate Katniss.

Liam Hemsworth, Donald Sutherland, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Stanley Tucci, and Sam Claflin all will reprise their roles, while Natalie Dormer (Cressida) and Stef Dawson (Annie Cresta) belong to the pool of new cast members.
