Hunger Games 2 Catching Fire Cast Spoilers 

Sam Flafflin, new Hunger Games star playing Finnick Odair, recently stopped by to have a chat with AOL news at the Cannes Hunger Games Party. In his talk, he give us a few details about what's coming up for the mega-hit Hunger Games series.

The first thing that he lets loose is the new style of the director for this upcoming film. He begins his interview by lauding the other cast members for welcoming him, and making him feel at home in a new place. This is not an easy task for actors joining a prequel.

He then explained the vision for the new film. As you may know already, Catching Fire has a different director than the first film. Francis Lawrence takes the helm after previous director Gary Ross leaves the franchise. 

Clafflin had great things to say about both directors and films, but noted that the change in direction would be a good thing. He said that the series was headed in a "good direction" and that the directing on the film has been spectacular.
