Hugh Jackman Shares on New 'Wolverine' Movie Expectations, Opens Door to Coming Back

Wolverine just released to theaters on July 24, 2013 but 'Wolverine 2' is already in the works. 

Hugh Jackman, who has played Wolverine in the recent solo and 'X-Men' movies indicated earlier this summer that he would be done with the role. However, he might be having a change of heart. 

Hugh recently told Entertainment Weekly, "I love the character, he's kind of like a best friend to me, and I don't ever want to take [him] or the fans for granted," Hugh told EW. "I think we've got a great opportunity to make something really cool, but it has to be great. That's what we're all working toward. I was on the phone with Jim Mangold last night. There are some really cool ideas that I'm dying to tell you, but that would be giving away a secret that is not even [fully] formed yet."

Director James Mangold is hoping that the script will be to Jackman's liking and that FOX will pay enough to keep him on board for the next film.
