Huawei Honor 7i Features & Specs News: Upcoming Device Sports Atypical Flippable 13-Megapixel Camera
It appears that the Huawei has introduced a unique smartphone called Honor 7i. The latest smartphone from the Chinese tech firm sports an exceptional camera unit that can be flipped backward and forward.
According to a report in IB Times, several images as well video of the newly unveiled Huawei Honor 7i are currently making the rounds online, mainly because of the handset's unusual camera design. The Huawei Honor 7i comes with a 13-megapixel rear-facing primary camera unit. Interestingly, the same camera unit can be flipped forth to capture selfies. Phone Arena reports that this unusual camera unit can actually be flipped with a finger.
Apparently, the camera unit of the Huawei Honor 7i's incorporates a Sony sensor with f/2.0 aperture, with a sapphire lens protection. According to reports, Huawei has assured that the rotation mechanism of the camera unit will not cause any problem, at least for two years.
While the Oppo N1 also features a similar primary camera unit that rotates to double as a secondary snapper, Oppo's rotating camera was supposedly disapproved of for the burdensome movements.
Coming back to the other specifications of the Huawei Honor 7i, this mid-range handset apparently comes with a 5.2-inch display, rendering 1080p screen resolution. In terms of software, the device is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 616 processor and 2 GB or 3 GB of RAM.
As far as the device's memory specification is concerned, the Honor 7i reportedly comes with 16 GB or 32 GB of built-in storage space. In addition, the Honor 7i is equipped with a 3,100 mAh battery unit and an exceptional fingerprint sensor, which has reportedly been housed at the side of the phone, something different from a Samsung or Apple device. It seems that the device apparently gets high screen-to-body ratio by changing the location of the fingerprint sensor.
According to Phone Arena, the handset is supposed to cost $250 in China. Nevertheless, the international version of the device may carry a price tag of anything between $300 and $400.
