Budget friendly phones are high in demand on the market, especially since they are not only affordable, but come with some great builds, decent features, and are pretty durable.

The HTC One Mini, released in July 2013, and the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra, released in January 2014, are two such phones, with comparisons being written on review sites such as, Phone Rocket, NDTV Gadgets, Versus and more.

When it comes to the display and key features, the HTC One Mini has a screen size of 4.3 inches, 720x1280 pixels and can be purchased in either a glacial silver color or stealth black. It also has a smooth body and a metal compact finish. The Sony Xperia T2 Ultra, on the other hand, has a screen size of 6 inches, 720x1080 pixels and is considered a tablet.

When it comes to what's under the hood, the HTC One Mini is powered by a 1.46Hz quadcore Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 16GB of RAM and an internal storage of 16GB. The Sony Xperia T2 Ultra comes with a similar 1.46Hz quadcore Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 16GB RAM, but it has a smaller internal storage of 8GB, though it has an expandable storage of up to 32GB

For the camera, the HTC One Mini, has a 4 ultrapixel rear camera and a 1.6 megapixel front camera, while the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra has a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 1.1 megapixel front camera. Both phones have LED flash, autofocus, face detection, smile detection, geotagging, video capacity and more.

When it comes to the battery life, both handphones do not have a removable battery, the HTC One Mini has a battery capacity of 1800 mAh and the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra with a battery capacity of 3000 mAh.
