HTC Nexus 9 Release Date: New 2K Display, 5GB RAM and 8MP Camera
Even after Google's launch of Nexus 8, consumer interest began to spark about the release of the next addition to the series, Nexus 9.
A reliable Twitter news announcer, @evleaks, said that the device will be named, Nexus 9 and will have an 8.9in screen. With this measurement, the Nexus 9 could be closely compared to the Apple's iPad Air and iPad Mini 2. The iOS tablets are measured 9.7in and 7.9in, respectively.
Additionally, the new smart device is set to match the outstanding retina display of the two iPads. Nexus 9 is said to have an HD resolution of 2560 x 1600, with front panel covering 281 pixels per inch.
However, according to Business Insider, the iPad Mini 2 will still beat Nexus 9 because its 326ppi can render more defined images and clips.
Still, Nexus 9 could be considered impressive because it is believed that the device's main engine is a quad-core Tegra K1 with NVIDIA processing chip that can reach a top frequency of 2.3 GHz.
To further improve Nexus 9's computing power, it will also include a RAM provision of 5GB, making the device the highest "random-access memory installed out of the box," according to International Business Times.
It is also suggested that it will offer a 64GB internal memory and have an 8PM rear and 5MP front camera combos.
The new style of Nexus 9 is said to attract even more customers with its premium body finish that will be covered in silver aluminum unified body frame.
