‘How to get Away With Murder' Live Stream, Spoilers, ABC Start Time: Premiere Episode Airs Tonight, Sept. 25
'How to Get Away With Murder' will premiere on Thursday, Sept. 25 at 10 pm EDT on ABC. The storyline of the new show revolves around a criminal defense lawyer/college professor, portrayed by Viola Davis, training her students about the realistic aspects of practicing law.
Expected to be a fast paced legal thriller, Episode 1 of 'How to Get Away With Murder' shows a young student named Wes Gibbins (Alferd Enoch) entering law school at Middleton University with no serious expectations. Gibbins is full of excitement as he makes new friends on his first day at the law school, but his friends caution him to get prepared.
Soon, Professor Annalise Keating enters the classroom to teach her students. She explains to her class what criminal law is all about. Viola Davis portrays the character of a strict and to the point professor, who always wants the best from her students.
Professor Keating's teaching approach is practical as she does not waste time teaching the theoretical aspect of the law. Instead, she is focused on the actual practice part of law. She will choose four students to work for her in her law firm and will challenge them to present the best defense for some of the trickiest cases handled by her firm. This results in some seriously fierce competition.
Keating believes that there are three steps to saving the client. According to her, the first step is to discredit the witness, the second step is to find another suspect and make it plausible that he may be the real perpetrator of the crime and at last bury the evidence.
The trailer released by ABC shows Wes Gibbins confronting his professor regarding the issue of getting a witness to lie on the stand. The lines of what is legal and moral start to get muddy for some of the students who are likely to secure a better grade. The trailer shows some students burning a corpse to hide the DNA evidence.
The creators of the popular TV shows 'Grey's Anatomy' and 'Scandal' are involved in this project, which makes fans excited to find out what 'How to Get Away With Murder' has in store for them.
