'How I Met Your Mother' Reveals the Mother in Season 8 Finale Episode / Broadway Star Cristin Milioti, the Girl with the Yellow Umbrella [VIDEO]

How I Met Your Mother update!

And kids, that's how...I watched a show for eight years. The CBS hit show, How I Met Your Mother is finally ready to reveal the mother in the Season 8 finale. Finally, no more listening to Ted Mosby [Josh Radnor] whining about every failed relationship in his life.

On last night's finale episode, "Something New" Ted's future wife is seen in the last minute buying a train ticket to Farhampton, to attend Barney and Robin's wedding. She was even carrying the infamous yellow umbrella. Ted's future bride is played by actress Cristin Milioti.

How are fans reacting to finally seeing the mother, in How I Met Your Mother? Is it too much pressure?

"It was a pretty big umbrella to fill, casting the title role in a series that's been on the air for eight years," says Carter Bays, co-creator of How I Met Your Mother.

That's okay; Milioti is a professional, and a busy one at that. The 27-year old actress is soon to be co-starring with Leonardo DiCaprio in the upcoming Scorsese film, "The Wolf of Wall Street."

Oscar nomination?

Cristin Milioti has also appeared on TV classics like The Sopranos, 30 Rock and now How I Met Your Mother. Milioti even has broadway, earning a Tony nomination for her role as "Girl" in "Once".

Show producers have also confirmed How I Met Your Mother will return for it's ninth and final season.
