‘House of Cards’ Season 3: Character Killed Off, Murder Investigation Begins
While the creators of the hit Netflix series 'House of Cards' put forward a great effort to keep details about the upcoming Season 3 to themselves, show runner Beau Willimon has decided to treat fans with a major spoiler.
According to Willimon, Frank Underwood's right hand man, Doug Stamper, will not survive his most recent predicament.
The last time fans saw Stamper, was when he was lying face down in the forest after being slammed by Rachel Posner in the head with a rock. Willimon has confirmed that he will not survive this attack, as some fans had speculated that this is not the end for Doug Stamper.
Fans realize that this news means Stamper will no longer be able to witness Underwood's ascension into glory as the new president. Things will certainly be different for Frank as his most trusted associate is no longer alive to do his dirty work. Stamper was responsible for carrying out many of the darker tasks, like murder, for the power hungry Frank Underwood.
Additional spoilers for the TV series reveal that the upcoming installment will consist of 13 episodes, while no official release date has yet been announced.
With regards to Rachel Posner, the character will still continue her role in 'House of Cards' Season 3 while the investigation of Stamper's death will commence. As it stands, fans will have to wait for the show to air before finding out whether Stamper's killer will be caught.
