'House of Cards' Season 3 Plot News: Russia Involved in New Storyline

The release date of 'House of Cards' Season 3 has been speculated all over the Internet. The political drama series is rumored to return in February 2015. However, no confirmation has been made by Netflix regarding the premiere date.

Earlier this year, Netflix announced the renewal for 'House of Cards'. But, with recent issues faced by the company, there might be a delay with the release date. Fans have nothing to fear because even though the producers had to face some tax problems in Maryland, the filming for Season 3 eventually started.

According to Latin Times, the political drama will involve Russia for this latest season. With the Russians involved in the drama, 'House of Cards' will definitely need to find a bunch of new actors to act as the Russian characters in the series. CityPaper.com reported that 'House of Cards' is casting a few of the members from an all-girl Russian band, who are known for their political activity.

Apparently, two of the band members, Nadezhda "Nadya" Tolokonnikova and Maria Alyokhina were said to be seen with the 'House of Cards' crew in Baltimore a few times. But, the series' producers have not made any confirmation regarding these speculations.

According to Air Herald, 'House of Cards' is a series about American politicians, set in Washington, D.C., where Frank Underwood never fails to keep the fans attached to the screen to watch his cruel, sly, and Machiavellian schemes. Many feel that Kevin Spacey played his character brilliantly in the past season.

Evidently, the series seems to be successful as it's highly rated and even renewed fro a Season 3 before Season 2 ended.
