'House of Cards' Season 2 Release Date 2014, Costs & Benefits of Releasing All Episodes at Once from John Truby, Watch Here (VIDEO) / 'Arrested Development' & 'Orange is the New Black' Follow in Same Steps

"House of Cards" the hit series from Netflix had enormous success in just it's first season of the show.

Neflix decided to release all episodes of Season 1 of "House of Cards" at once, which was a big risk and could have backfired but fans of the show seemed to really get into it.

It was such a success that Netflix decided to release the new season of "Arrested Development" in the same way earlier this year, releasing all episodes at one time. Then in July 2013 "Orange is the New Black" came out on Netflix in the same way and was another huge surprise success. So Neflix formula seems to be working.

The popular screenwiter/director John Truby shot a short video (shown above) explaining the 'Benefits & Costs' of Neflix releasing "House of Cards" Season 1 all at once.

Season 2 of "House of Cards" has started production and will release in 2014. "House of Cards" is Netflix's first original series and received some nice validation with it's recent Emmy nomination for "Outstanding Drama Series". This was the first time a program from only a digital platform received a high-profile Emmy nomination.

"House of Cards" received nine Emmy nominations all together.

What do you guys think about Netflix stratedgy of releasing full seasons of shows and all the episodes at one time?
