Homeland Season 4 Release Date, Spoilers: Total Re-Vamp After Brody's Death?

With the highly anticipated fourth season of Homeland, fans are looking for any answers as to what will happen when the show returns this Fall.

After Season 3's finale ended with the death of Sgt. Brody, fan's were first shocked then electrified into wanting to know what's in store in the next set of episodes.

As fans search and scour the reaches of the Internet, they find rumors and spoilers for Homeland Season 4.

Sources say, the character Mike Faber, played by Diego Klattenhoff, is not likely to return and has been quoted saying by Digital Spy as saying, "Brody's dead and I think they've moved on. I had such a great run, but from what I understand, Carrie (Claire Danes) is gone overseas and I don't know how they would squeeze it in."

Mandy Patinkin is set to reprise his role as Saul, Carrie's mentor. Rupert Friend and Nazanin Boniadi are set to return in Season 4 as cast regulars. Also, Laila Robbins who plays as the ambassador of the United States to Islamic Republic of Pakistan has also been cast as a regular.

The plot-line sees Carrie who continues to suffer from bipolar disorder dealing with maternity for the first time, and also tries to adjust with her new post in the Middle East. This season will show her character try to stop terrorists carrying out nefarious deeds within their own world. Learning to become a mother and catching bad guys is definitely super-mom material. Since the Carrie-Brody arc has been completely discarded, it will be interesting to see how the show proceeds without the presence of Damian Lewis' character.
