Biblical blockbusters have done incredibly well in 2014, but as well as seeing an increase of God on screen - some of Hollywood's biggest stars openly talked about their faith in God and Jesus.

Oscar award winning actor Matthew McConaughey first stunned Hollywood with his profession of faith at the 86th annual Oscar awards this year. To further affirm his Christian faith in Hollywood, McConaughey recently told GQ Magazine how his relationship with God changed after having children with his wife Camila Alves. He said he attends a non-denominational church in Texas with his wife and their three kids Levi (6 years old), Vida (4 year-old), and Livingston (2 years old) every Sunday.

"It's [his church] based in the faith that Jesus is the son of God, that He died for our sins, but many different denominations come in," McConaughey to revealed to the publication.

Gwen Stefani shared her and her family's faith in God during a recent interview on 'Late Night with Seth Meyers'. The singer said her eldest son actually prayed relentlessly for a younger brother and just weeks later she found out she was having a "miracle" baby.

She mimicked her sons prayer, "'Dear God, please let my mom have a baby. Please, God! Please let my mom have a baby!'"

Stefani said her boy Kingston repeated this prayer every single night. "And four weeks later, I was pregnant!" she declared. When Stefani and her husband broke the news to their son she said he rejoiced and shouted, "'Gasp... I prayed for that!!!'"

Shia LaBeouf joined the outspoken celebrities by talking about his newfound Christian faith in an interview for his latest film entitled 'Fury'. The 'Transformers' star revealed that Brad Pitt and film director David Ayer helped him find Jesus on the set.

"I found God doing Fury. I became a Christian man, and not in a f*****g b******t way-in a very real way. I could have just said the prayers that were on the page. But it was a real thing that really saved me. And you can't identify unless you're really going through it. It's a full-blown exchange of heart, a surrender of control. And while there's beauty to that, acting is all about control. So that was a wild thing to navigate...Brad [Pitt] was really instrumental in guiding my head through this," LaBeouf said to Interview Magazine.

Actor Chris Pratt and his wife, actress Anna Faris also opened up about their faith, after undergoing a great scare when their son was born premature and fell into a coma two years ago. However, he miraculously recovered and this year the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' star publicly told People the experience "redefined" his faith in God.

Their son, Jack, was born in August of 2012, but was nine weeks premature and the concerned parents felt helpless, "We were scared for a long time. We prayed a lot," Pratt confessed. The parents prayed while little Jack spent a month in intensive care.

"It restored my faith in God, not that it needed to be restored, but it really redefined it," the actor continued, "The baby was so beautiful to us, and I look back at the photos of him and it must have been jarring for other people to come in and see him, but to us he was so beautiful and perfect."
