The most highly anticipated film of the year, New Line Cinema's the 'Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies' recently released its official synopsis as well as announcing that the trailer is a wrap and is ready to be shown to the public.
The end of the trilogy is coming soon to theaters this December 26, 2014 in Australia, December 11 in New Zealand, December 12 in the UK and December 17 in the U.S. According to the official site of the film, TheOneRing.net which houses all the updates for the film and J.R.R. Tolkien's book, the film will journey through Thorin Oakenshield's obsession with the treasure in the mountain as he refuses to share it. Oakenshield, played by Richard Armitage, will mirror his grandfather who went crazy because of his fascination with gold.
Bilbo Baggins, played by Ian Hecox, will have a great contribution as he takes effort in helping Oakenshield see reason. The film will also tackle the conflict regarding all the races in the fantasy world. It has been revealed that the dragon of Smaug will not be the only threat. Elves, Dwarves, and Men will have to decide if they will stand together against the forces of Sauron who sent legions of Orcs to attack the Lonely Mountain or die fighting between themselves.
According to TheOneRing.net, the official trailer will run for one minute and 48 seconds, and be released relatively soon. The length is shorter than the previous trailers for the franchise, but it is reported that there is a good reason for that which the public would see as soon as the trailer is released. The trailer is anticipated to release either this week or the next as the production is just waiting for the perfect time to make their fans even more anxious for the last installment of 'The Hobbit' franchise.
