Hillsong Conference NYC: Judah Smith Preaches Comical Sermon in MSG; Says He's 'Emotionally Unstable' but Carries the 'Breath of God' [PHOTOS]
BREATHEcast was in attendance during the morning session of the Hillsong Conference in Madison Square Garden's theater, and Judah Smith wowed the crowd with a humorous teaching on the importance of the soul's home.
The Seattle pastor came out with his staple big glasses look and immediately paid homage to senior pastors of Hillsong."Pastor Brian and Bobby are true pastors to me and my wife, he's (Brian) a true builder," Smith said.
Smith also shared his revelation that the older you get, "faithfulness gets sexy." After a silly prayer that included the football team the Seahawks, Smith begun his sermon. He preached from 3 John verse 2 and emphasized that it is very important that one's soul prospers.
"Ask yourself is my soul healthy?" he said, Smith preached that one's soul should have a home. "We were created and designed to have literal home and habitation," he continued.

Smith confessed he was "emotionally unstable" and he needed his soul to have a home.
He then spoke of how God breathed into Adam and then he became a living soul from Genesis 2:7.
"You literally are a carrier of the breath of God," he taught
He went on to say that "good Christians" give themselves good talking's, such as King David, who said "Bless the Lord o my soul."
Smith continued to comically preach, channeling a bit of the actor Jim Carey with his mannerisms and thoughts. He made it known how much he hates public bathroom covers and hilariously explained some of his troubles while trying to use a public restroom tying in that thought with his "home" message.
Overall he maintained, "The most grateful thing you can do with your borrowed breathe is give it back to the Lord." He said there is a syndrome of restlessness throughout the world because ?"we are nomadic on the inside" he said unless one's soul finds rest in God.
Regarding worship, Smith said that when he is anxious and missing home when traveling he can "go home" even when he is not home and in worship the "restlessness ceases."
Other scriptures he directed the diverse crowd at MSG to were: Psalm 150:6 and Luke 10:42.
Hillsong's Pastor Houston thanked Smith and told the audience that he was better than a stand up comic with more depth and content. Smith spoke again in the night session of day two.
During day two of the conference it was announced the next Hillsong Conference would be held in New Jersey, 2015 in the ?Prudential Center arena.
