'Hemlock Grove' fans remain in the dark, as there has been no official word about whether or not the show will return for a Season 3. Reports are saying that even the cast members on the show do not know whether they will reprise their roles or have to forget about them all together.

What really bothers fans of the show, is that second season's finale ended with a cliffhanger. This has made anxious fans even more concerned that they will never find out what happens next in the story.

Even though Season 2 came across as tamer than the first season, the series was still considered to be pretty bizarre by many. Again, there's no news about a Season 3, so no one can know for sure whether or not the show would ever regain the vigor it had in its Season 1.

Recently, the cast shared their confusion over the production's plans or lack thereof, Bill Skarsgard said he had no clue what was going on, or "how things will shake out."

He made mention that talking about a Season 3 is "really funny" because Season 2's finale gave no indication as to which direction the show's story would be taken.

Landon Libroiron of the cast also provided his insight on the matter. He said that he personally wasn't even thinking about the possibility for a subsequent season.

In terms of reviews, the show stood up fairly well in the eyes of critics. They had praised the production for the vast improvement of its second season. They said the second season offered a lot of good performances from the actors and the story has a very intriguing mystery as well. The story also had a lot of developments compared to the first season.

However, Skarsgard said that there are "lots of questions" that still need to be answered. He still believes, if producers pursue a second season, than fans will surely become more hooked than ever.
