‘Hemlock Grove’ Season 3 Release Date? Awaits Netflix Decision for Renewal or Cancellation
The Netflix original series 'Hemlock Grove' released its second season on July 11 with an ending that left fans wondering whether the show will be renewed or cancelled.
Netflix has not yet made an announcement regarding whether or not the show will return for a third season. However, the second season ended with a cliffhanger that has left its viewers guessing what's in store.
"I don't know how things will shake out. It's really funny to think of that whole thing of what will Season 3 will be like, because I have no idea. Like, I have no idea," said actor Bill Skarsgard, who plays the character of Roman Godfrey.
The second season of the show veered away from explaining the mystery surrounding the town of Hemlock Grove. Instead, the show focused on explaining why Olivia Godfrey, the character played by Femke Janssen, is still alive.
The majority of the first half of the 10-episode season also focused on the characters of Roman Godfrey, Miranda (Madeline Brewer), Peter Rumancek (Landon Liboiron), Dr. Pryce (Joel de la Fuente), Norman Godfrey (Dougray Scott), Destiny (Tiio Horn) and Shelley (Madeleine Martin) and how their relationships unfold after the season one ending.
In the Zap2it interview, Skarsgard said that during the first season of the show, he knew "a little bit" about where the second season was heading and what the storyline would be like. However, for the third season, even the cast was left in the dark.
"It's going to be a lot of troubles, I think," Skarsgard said.
As it stands, fans are also left in the dark about an upcoming installment, but at least Season 2 is available its entirety on Netflix.
