The NBA Finals are back on ABC tonight after a two day layoff since Game 4 in San Antonio where the Heat went into the Spurs house and take the game to tie the series up at 2-2.  

This has been a very roller coaster series with games 2 and 3 being blow outs, Game 2 for the Heat and Game 3 for the Spurs.  

Finally Game 4 gave a competitive edge again, but the Heat seemed to have more momentum from the start and the Spurs lacked the intensity of the previous game. In other words, the Heat just wanted it more. They knew that if they went down 3-1 to the Spurs that the series was over. 

So here we are now, with the roles reversed. After the Spurs had all the momentum going into Game 4, the Heat have all the momentum going into Game 5 and here is why. 

First, this is the last game in San Antonio.  After tonight's Game 5, both Games 6 & 7 are in Miami, so the Spurs have to win tonight to give them the 3-2 edge, so they have two shots at winning one game against the Heat on their home floor. 

Secondly, the Heat just do not lose 2 games in a row. For whatever reason, the Heat always turn it up after a loss. They did it against the Bulls, Pacers and now Spurs in this playoff series. So if that stat on the Heat's side, plus the fact that they are playing the final two games at home, the Spurs need the win desperately tonight to have a shot at winning the series. 

Lastly, all the pressure is on the Spurs tonight. The Heat do not want to go down 3-2, but atleast they know in the back of their heads they are going home for the final 2 games. But at stated above, the Spurs will not beat the Heat twice at home, simply because the Heat do not lose two games in a row. 

The Spurs are a good road team and I feel if they can win tonight, they can win one game in Miami, even if it is Game 7. Because if it goes to a Game 7 in Miami, all the pressure will be on the Heat being the favorites and home team. The Spurs are confident on the road, they just need to go into Game 6 with a one game cushion.
