How will the Spurs and Gregg Popovich bounce back from a crushing Game 4 defeat. Will the struggling Manu Ginobili see more time on the bench? Sure, Ginobili's NBA Finals credentials speak for themselves but when does winning a championship take precedent?
What team benefits from the extra day of rest? Some could argue the Miami Heat because it gives Dwayne Wade a little extra time to rest his knee after a spectacular 32-point Game 4. Instead I give the nod to the Spurs. Without Tony Parker at full health, the Spurs are void of a true playmaker on the court. Role players like Gary Neal, Danny Green and Kawhi Leonard have been successful because of the separation they because teams have to double team Parker. Once upon a time, Ginobili could have been that nucleus. Not anymore.
Game 4's 85-point game from the Heat's Big 3, was collectively, their best playoff performance to date. Can Chris Bosh had 20 points and 13 rebounds in Game 4 against the Spurs. Can he do that again in Game 5? Yes. Will he? Most likely not.
Dwayne Wade scored 32 points on 14-25 shooting. Similar performance tonight? Not likely.
The best bet for consistency is LeBron James performing close to his 33 point, 11 rebound Game 4. If LeBron can maintain his Game 4 numbers and the rest of the Big 3 complements well, the Heat have a great chance to win tonight and close out the 2013 Finals in Miami.
