'Hawaii Five-O Season 5 has just started its production with a traditional blessing ceremony together with its entire cast and crew.

Before everything starts, the entire production team of the awaited action series decided to hold a traditional blessing in honor of its host location which was officiated by Kauila Kawelo Barber. According to the recent news about the series, the ceremony has been attended by its excited cast members and that doesn't include Michelle Borth. Borth portrays the role of Catherine who happens to be the love interest of McGarrett.

Borth's absence for the upcoming show has been already confirmed by the actress before the production for the next season could even start. With that, viewers might be also expecting what will happen to Catherine and Steve's relationship now that the actress is off the show. As the show is about to start, it's not just the fans that are excited for its come-back, but the stars are even more eager to start filming.

According to the recent news, Alex O'Loughlin is very excited to be part of 'Hawaii Five-O' Season 5. The actor also added that even though it will be hard for them to make it a hit, they are going to work hard for the viewers of the show. According to show runner Peter Lenkov, a lot of surprises will be shown while other fan-favorite characters will be back.

'Hawaii Five-O' Season 5 is set to premiere on CBS this September 26 mainland US while it will air on September 13 in Waikiki, Hawaii.
