CBS's popular crime task force series, 'Hawaii Five-0', is currently filming the rest of Season 5, and spoilers released about what can be expected in the episodes satiates hungry 'Hawaii Five-0' fans.

Spoilers and teasers reveal that Detective Lieutenant Chin Ho Kelly will be up for a promotion, but that stands a chance to be just another cover-up story.

On a side note, Alex O'Loughlin and the rest of the Five-0 team are excited because the season premiere, entitled "If, Perhaps," is their 100^th episode.

Beyond that, additional spoilers reveal that O'Loughlin's will be meeting a female guest star during his father's death anniversary. But executive producer Peter Lenkov cleared that the character will be more of a friend than a romantic interest.

"Everybody's selling it as a love interest, but really it's a friendship," Lenkov told TVLine, "McGarrett meets a woman on the anniversary of his father's death, and they share the common trauma of both losing a parent very early on, and that's going to play into an arc."

Good news for fans, 'Hawaii Five-0' is hosting a public broadcast of the first episode of Season 5 on an outdoor beachfront setting at Queens Beach in Waikiki. This is done with respect to the show's tradition since it aired in 2010. The event is free and will be attended by cast members and production team.

Current casts like Alex O'Loughlin (Steve McGarrett), Scott Caan (Danno Williams), Daniel Dae Kim (Chin Ho Kelly), Grace Park (Kono Kalakaua), Masi Oka (Dr. Max Bergman), and Chi McBride (Lou Grover) are expected to attend the event together with original member Dennis Chun (Duke Lukela). Jorge Garcia and Jerry Ortega who both have recurring roles in the past seasons are also going to the premiere party.

'Hawaii Five-0' returns to CBS on September 26, Friday at 9 PM.
