Harry Styles, Kendall Jenner Dating: "One Direction" Singer Gives Alleged Girlfriend Gold Ring Prompting Engagement Rumors, Seen Leaving Same Hotel in New York City

After a couple dinner dates, is Harry Styles ready to propose to his rumored girlfriend Kendall Jenner? According to sources the One Direction heartthrob bough the 18-year old Kardashian star a gold Yves Saint Laurent ring as a romantic, Christmas gift.

Though, Jenner and Styles have yet to make their relationship public, the gold ring is prompting rumors online that the two young celebrities might have a possible engagement on the brain. Apparently Styles gave his alleged reality star girlfriend the ring to say thanks for flying out from her home in LA to spend time with him in New York City, where she was in town for a meeting.

"He wanted to thank her for flying out to see him and he knows she likes simple and gold jewelry, so he chose something fairly plain but stylish," an insider revealed. "It's not a romantic ring as such, it's like a gesture of affection while their relationship is still new."

The couple, who have been attached to dating rumors since the American Music Awards, were seen leaving the Gansevoort hotel in New York City Saturday. Swarmed by a legion of fans two security ushered the lovebirds through the hotel's restaurant The Chester.

They may have been together leaving the hotel but sources say Jenner and Styles slept in different hotels.

Though the two deny dating rumors, one source told E! News that they were holding hands once they got off the elevator adding, "I've never seen Kendall happier and more fan friendly."
