Harry Potter Hotel Opens in London: Hogwarts Style Rooms, Muggle Money Prices
'Harry Potter' fans can experience the Hogwarts lifestyle for themselves as a new Harry Potter themed hotel has recently opened up in London.
The Harry Potter-themed hotel is set in a 163-year old Georgian House hotel near London's Victoria Station.
The hotel features replicas of Hogwarts' rooms filled with potion bottles, cauldrons, trunks, and spell books.
"And don't worry, we include full English breakfast in your stay, and not bogey flavoured Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans!" reads the hotel's site.
Aside from that, the hotel also features customized "wizarding packages" which consists of a popular Muggle Walking Tour of the major landmarks seen in the films including the train platform 9 ¾ at King's Cross Station.
Guests will also enjoy a tour to the Warner Bros. Studio while riding a special Harry Potter Tour bus for clients to get a glimpse of The Making of Harry Potter while checking out the film's props and sets.
However, the spellbinding experience reportedly comes with quite a steep price.
According to Mirror, to stay a night in the smaller gothic-styled Wizard Chambers which is able to accommodate three people, guests have to shell out £249 ($400). A room that can sleep five people will cost a whopping £363 ($584) per night.
However, a couple can experience a magical stay in one of the Hogwarts rooms with breakfast included for £209 ($336) per night.
The Daily Beast reports that "For two people, including one night in the Wizard Chambers, breakfast, Muggle and Studio Tour tickets, it will run you $584 (£363).
An extra child will cost $180 (£111) while an extra adult will add $207(£128).
"The Georgian House Hotel places great emphasis on welcoming families and I really wanted to create something fun for young visitors," Serena von der Heyde, partner at The Georgian House, stated in an interview with The Independent.
"When guests arrive we light candles and play music as they enter the Wizard Chambers - it's a great way to give families a unique stay," von der Heyde added.
