'Hannibal' Season 3 Cast News, Spoilers: Tony Award Winner Nina Arianda to Appear in Episode 8

As the audience eagerly waits for the announcement release date of 'Hannibal' Season 3, NBC has announced that the role of Will Graham's wife has been filled by Nina Arianda.

Arianda, a Tony Award winner, is set to appear in Episode 8 of the third season as Molly, Graham's wife, according to TV Line.

In order to get the character rolling, the show will feature a time jump a few years forward. Arianda's character, apparently, is the driving force for Graham to forget his troubled past. She will also encourage Will to return to the FBI despite knowing all the risks of accepting the job.

Robert Greenblatt, Chairman of NBC Entertainment, announced that 'Hannibal' Season 3 will be announced sometime in May, but hasn't mentioned any specific date.

Joining Arianda on the cast is "True Blood' star Rutina Wesley, who will be playing an interesting character from Thomas Harris' "Red Dragon' novel in season three. The character is named Reba McClane, a blind woman, who enters into a relationship with the psychotic Francis Dolarhyde (Richard Armitage), and helps soothe his murderous urges.

In other news, the new episodes are said to bring back the character of the mutilated Mason Verger, as the show sees a character replacement with Michael Pitt by Joe Anderson, according to Variety.

While the cast change and new additions have grabbed enough attention, the talk of the town still remains the trailer of the upcoming season. The trailer shows Will Graham tracking his new foe half way across the world. This happens a year after Hannibal escapes with Dr. Bedelia Du Maurier in the final moments of last season.

The show, which was created by Bryan Fuller, is filled with dark, disturbing plots, is expected to take even more intriguing turns, after successfully completing two seasons.
