'Halo: The Master Chief Collection' Gold Pre-Load, Xbox Live Download- Game Launches November 11

News has just broke that the highly-anticipated 343 Industries title, 'Halo: The Master Chief Collection' has been given the green light and has gone Gold. Gamers will be able to pre-load the full game on October 17.

According to Xbox Wire, "Halo: The Master Chief Collection has gone GOLD!"

'Halo: The Master Chief Collection' is set for a launch on November 11, 2014, but players can prepare a copy of the game on their consoles long before the release.

In a press release posted by Dan Ayoub- Studio Head, Halo External Development, 343 Industries, some interesting insights about the game came to light.

Ayoub said, "Halo: The Master Chief Collection will take up almost all of the usable space of a single Blu-ray (45 GB), and we will also issue a content update at launch that is estimated to be 20 GB."

Considering the game is pretty large in terms of file size, Xbox gamers would be wise to download the game ahead of time.

Additionally, Ayoub mentioned an update for the game as they wanted to save some disc space for players who want a retail copy of the game.

He said, "You'll be able to start playing Campaign and more as the content is installing, with some features and multiplayer content being added via the update," adding, "Yes, the update is large, but we weren't about to cut corners to save disc space."

Considering the update itself is 20 GB, some gamers on Reddit were bewildered with the size of this title. However, it's important to note that 'Halo: The Master Chief Collection' encompasses four 'Halo' titles, which makes sense considering the download size.

In a Twitter post, Dan Ayoub tossed out some advice for 'Halo: The Master Chief Collection' Pre-Loaders.
