'Halo 5: Guardians' Release Date: Will Microsoft Launch New Game on Nov. 10, 2015? [VIDEO]

Recently, Michael Cavanaugh, a new recruit by 343 Industries and a professional 'Halo' player, posted a photograph of himself along with 'Halo' community manager Andy "Bravo" Dudynsky on his Twitter account. The image sparked some curiosity as it displayed a 343 Industries banner counting down from the number 382.

Some believe that the figure in the picture references the date of a release, meaning that something will be launched on November 10, 2015.

A report by TechTimes claims that 'Halo 5: Guardian' is scheduled for release sometime in 2015 and Nov. 10 is a Tuesday - the day of the week when publishers generally release new video games in North America. Moreover, the report says that the Twitter post was made precisely at 3:43 a.m.

The website went on to say that, "Nov. 10 also gives Microsoft plenty of time to market 'Halo 5' and the Xbox One to holiday shoppers. When all of those details are put into place, a Nov. 10 release date makes a whole lot of sense."

Even as fans are already excited regarding the release of the new franchise game next Fall, a Microsoft representative told IGN, "The recent rumors regarding the release date of 'Halo 5: Guardians' are false."

Although Microsoft has been claiming the rumors to be "false," one just cannot help but to notice the suitability of Nov. 10.

Meanwhile, GameSpot has reported that all 'Halo' games, barring the 'Halo 3', were released in the first half of November. Even the latest release, 'Halo: The Master Chief Collection', was released Nov. 11.

Although there is very little information regarding the plot of 'Halo 5', 343 Industries general manager Bonnie Ross and development director Frank O'Connor, who commented earlier about the game, have hinted that 'Halo 5' will take off from the events of 'Halo 4'.

Referring to Master Chief, Ross said, "When we left him in 'Halo 4', he's in a really challenging position," adding, "He's questioning many things he once firmly believed were true. He's lost his best friend, he's questioning his past and his purpose, he's question who he is fighting for."
