The long wait is over for fans of "Haikyuu!!," as season 3 has been confirmed for a release date this fall.

"Haikyuu!!" is an anime that centers on characters who play volleyball. Its lead character is Shouyou Hinata, who was inspired to revive the volleyball club in his school after catching a glimpse of a volleyball match involving volleyball superstar "Little Giant."

The first season of the anime showed Shouyou being challenged by his endeavor, not only because of the difficulties involved in getting his team members back together, but also because he could not find himself a role in his team given his short and small stature.

In season 2, Shouyou and his teammate Kageyama Tobio sought to take the Karasuno High School team and tried their best to prove their worth as one of the best volleyball teams in Japan. It was no easy task for the teammates since they had to face some of the toughest opponents they could face in the early episodes of the season.

As Shouyou and his teammates try to be hailed as the Miyagi representative for the Spring High Tournament, a clash between their team and Shiratorizawa will happen, and this will storyline will continue in "Haikyuu!!" season 3.

This was confirmed by a report from the official "Haikyuu!!" website, where a teaser video was entitled "Haikyuu!!: Karasuno Koukou VS Sharatorizawa Gakuen Koukou."

The clash between the two teams is just one of the reasons why fans of the anime look forward to season 3.
